Just a quick note to say that one of my Wisebread posts, 7 Ways to Get Warm on the Cheap, got mentioned in a New York Times blog post, How to Lower Your Heating Bill. What fun!

This blog, and my whole website, have been “under reconstruction” indefinitely, mostly due to the birth of my daughter in January 2010. It’s amazing how much time a baby takes up, especially when the mama is new to the whole thing, too. But my sweet girl is 9 months old now, and I’m feeling the urge to experiment here again. I hope to use this space to explore some of the writing I’m doing and some of the thoughts swirling in my head.
